About Me

My photo
Hi, I'm April Arms and I go by Christie. I'm hard of hearing and I use American Sign Language as first language and speaking English as second language. I’m self-taught second generation artist, a wife, and a mother to my first child who is 2 years old now. I earned my Associate degree in Art at the Tyler Junior College in 2004. During my time as a student in Tyler Junior College, I have been working as a professional artist. In 2002, I started doing the Murals in TJC's (Tyler Junior College) Tutor's loft, Luby's restaurant, and painted prices on Crown car dealership vehicles' windshield. I just recently did the mural for this TJC client's little son's room. I started selling on eBay in 2005 after graduating from Tyler Junior College. So now it been 7 years and still love to be able to do what I love for a living as an artist! I have enjoyed sharing my paintings with people in local area. Now I want to experience what it likes to share my paintings in networks.

Ouchie! Wisdom teeth removal.......

Sorry for haven't been on here for while. I just got my surgery last friday (10/16/09) to get my 3 wisdom teeth out. It was 1 that on the top left of my face was killing me for whole week so that when I went toi dentist last wednesday appointment. They to the x-ray each sections of my teeth, other x-ray for whole face, and evaluate my mouth. So I came back last thursday to see my dentist to let me know what need to be done about ny wisdom tooth after he studied my x-rays day before. He said he see that my top wisdom tooth bother me a lot but also see that my 2 lower wisdom teeth already impacted. What he been by that my wisdom left bottom did not come out straight as it should so it still under my gum and the wisdom crown part faced toward my other tooth and the point bone part of that wisdom tooth (where the root go in) grew into my jaw bone line and will be major surgery right there to get it out of the jaw bone line and will add the bone graft on it to make it even as bone line from jaw & look like there never been tooth there. Also he said my 2nd other right bottom need to be taken out as well cuz the tip of the crown came angle toward othe tooth but half way out n gum open on top got small hole on it nad he said he can see the bacteria n foods, etc trapped under that gum above the wisdom n starteed decay.

So now he got all 3 out last friday and I feel so much better on my top left where it was gave me very painful for a week. I'm doing good. Just sore on my both bottom jaw where 2 wisdom was taken out. I'm glad he got it taken care of. Yes the surgery was pain but it better than be painful forever if not taken out. Make sense?
Thank you for your time. I will post the pictures here......

Just came home from surgery and was still out from IV Sedatin they gave me during surgery.

I'm awake, putting frozen veggies on both side of face for 20 min on & 5 min off. I got tired of hold it so I asked my hubby 2 tie something on it so he found my belt. Better than nothing. lol Also put in 2 ice old wet tea bags inside where my wisdom teeth removed for about 2 to 3 hours but change the tea bags every 15 to 20 mins. Dentist said ice cold from bag make blood bleed slow down and the tea bag absorb the bleeding to keep gum clean.

Here my 3 wisdom teeth. Gros I know. Sorry.

This was my top left that been causied me pain for week that the main reason I went to dentist last wednesday. He said it came out angle & the crown part rubbed on the side of my face. Ugh I feel much better now cuz no pressure there since he removed it. Yay!

This was bottom left faced horizontal. The crown part face toward the other tooh and that other boney end was inside the jaw bone line.

This was my bottom right where it didn't come out all the way like it should. It just partly out and gum still over half of the top. He said it got decay cuz of the trapped of bacteria and foods under those gum. You see where the decay on the corner of the crown and you'll see the top of the same tooth crown below.

The same tooth for the bottom right. You see th balck decay on the crown?

THE ENDS
